Policlubs

  • Sons of Sauron(SoS) – Detroit Chapter
    • Political Stance: Pro-Ork & Troll; Anti-Squishy
    • Enemies: Humanis Policlub, Alamos 20,000
    • Allies: MOTOR, Pit Bull Union, BiS, NAAM
    • Headquarters: Boston-Edison
    • Local President: Bernard Lyons
    • Recruitment: Orks and Trolls
    • Description: Formed after the Night of Rage race riots, SoS is a militant organization of trolls and orks whose stated mission is the “Defense of the oppressed, and the Fight for ork and troll equality around the world.” They’ve conducted attacks & assassinations against Humanis clubs, Alamos 20,000, and offices public and private with patterns of anti-metahuman discrimination, particularly against orks and trolls.
They consider the Ork Rights Commission too complacent with the system of institutional racism, but respect their ideals. As National President George Atwell once stated: “When the Sons of Sauron have defeated the armies of Institutional Discrimination, we will need people like [the ORC President] to build a just and equal society. Metahumanity is locked in a war for our survival, and we are its soldiers. There will come a time for diplomacy and discourse when this war is won.”
  • Pit Bull Union (PBU)
    • Political Stance: Pro-Ork/Pro-Troll
    • Enemies: Humanis Policlub, Alamos 20,000
    • Allies: MOTOR, NAAM, SoS, BiS
    • Headquarters: Dearborn Heights
    • Local President: Marquis Fontaine
    • Recruitment: Trolls & Orks
    • Description: Born from the same bloody soil as SoS and MOTOR, Pit Bull Union is a collective of orks and trolls that actively defend their kind from threats in the GDM, and often carry-out revenge attacks against anti-metahuman groups. They are also known to support their operations by questionable means, with suspected links to local gang activity and defrauding pro-human businesses. They operate on the same scale and in the same communities as MOTOR, but are ideologically opposed to that Faith-Based organization. They are strongly allied with SoS, and routinely provide muscle for SoS operations.
  • House of Windsor
    • Political Stance: Separatists
    • Enemies: Knight Errant, Emerald Mountain, Highwaymen
    • Allies: The Ancients, Campus Martius Naturae, 3 Fires Council
    • Headquarters: Windsor
    • Local President: Zachary Bouchard
      **Recruitment: Muskrat French, Anti-corporates
    • Description: The Muskrat French are a very old subculture of Detroit composed of french-canadians. After the Unification, a portion of this population was disillusioned with the idea of incorporating Canadian towns into the mire that was Metro Detroit. They formed the House of Windsor and called for the seccession of Windsor and the formerly-canadian townships on the south side of the river.

They were inspired by the success of both Quebec and California, and have sought to bring their sovereign Windsor dream to fruition despite virtually no support from the local population or anyone outside of their own sub-subculture. They were not considered a real threat until they bombed the Ambassador Bridge.

  • Campus Martius Naturae
    • Political Stance: Pro-Environment/Anti-pollution
    • Enemies: Ares & FoMoCo, GDFPco
    • Allies: HoW, 3 Fires Council, Ancients, BiS
    • Headquarters: Palmer Woods
    • Local President: Elsa Vega-Torres
    • Recruitment: Environmental Extremists, Anti-Corporate Radicals
    • Description: Horrified by the continued transfer of protected park lands to industry, a group of former Green Peace activists formed their own organization, recruiting heavily from university students and shamanist magicians. They’ve dedicated themselves to reinstating and resuscitating natural lands in and around Detroit while pushing-out environmental threats. They’re cause celebre has been the GDFP facility and the Brighton Beach industrial zone ranks high on their target list, too. They normally stage disruptive protests, but they’ve successfully vandalized and sabotaged enough corp property that Knight Errant has been ordered to “aggressively investigate” members and known-associates.
  • Bishops of Truth
    • Political Stance: Anti-corp/Anti-government
    • Enemies: Knight Errant/Ares
    • Allies: CMN, PBU, 3FC
    • Headquarters: Milwaukee Junction
    • Local President: Rosalie Bergeron
    • Recruitment: Anti-Knight Errant, Anti corp (especially anti-media)
    • Description: The Bishops of Truth are considered a “college radio” policlub by many, but they’ve gone toe-to-toe with Knight Errant and various corporate security teams on multiple occasions. Their stated mission is to “Push back the shadows of the Police & Corporate Media to bring Truth to the people.” Most of their activity falls under investigative journalism, but they’re not afraid to commit a slew of felonies in the process, including burglary and significant digital intrusion. One of their rallying issues is the ZQZ, which they frequently refer to as the “Ares Concentration Camp.” Due in no small part to corporate influence, the mass media and therefore the public consider them fringe conspiracy-mongers.
  • Alamos 20,000 – Detroit Battalion
    • Political Stance: Anti-Metahuman

    • Allies: Humanis Policlub
    • Headquarters: Uknown

They’re most notable attack was the Sears Tower bombing, but their domestic terror cells wreak havoc across North America. Strong rumors connect Alamos 20,000 with Humanis Policlub, but such connections have been elusive to prove.
  • Humanis Policlub – Dearborn Chapter
    • Political Stance: Pro-human/anti-metahuman
    • Enemies: Metahumanity
    • Allies: Alamos 20,000
    • Headquarters: Dearborn
    • Local President: Jack MacMahon
    • Recruitment: human supremacists
    • Description: Humanis is a well-funded, well-connected, and multi-national group with chapters in most major metropolitan areas. They pursue an anti-metahuman agenda on multiple political fronts in addition to criminal & terrorist activity. They are suspected as having strong links to the more extreme Alamos 20,000, but such connections have never been acknowledged publicly.
  • ACCLU – Detroit Chapter
    • Political Stance: Civil Liberty/Anti-Patriarchy
    • Enemies: Knight Errant, Humanis

  • Mission for Ork & Troll Opportunities & Rights (MOTOR)
    • Political Stance: Pro Ork/Troll
    • Enemies: Humanis, Alamos 20,000
    • Allies: ORC, ACCLU, NAAM, Bishops of Truth
    • Headquarters: North Orktown
    • Local President: Rev. Denarius Carlisle
    • Recruitment: orks, trolls, and pro-meta-human activists
    • Description: Detroit’s model policlub, MOTOR was formed in the basement of Spirit of Hope church during the Night of Rage, as ork and troll families sheltered from the race riots that killed dozens across the city. Rev. Carlisle and his congregation formed MOTOR to create opportunities for ork and troll children, and to show the world that orks and trolls deserved respect and equal treatment.

They founded the Sacred Heart Orc &Troll Academy in partnership with Sacred Heart Seminary. MOTOR’s work has drawn orks and trolls from around Michigan to Orktown, and it’s become a regional center the exchange of ideas within the goblinized community. They’re about the only heart-warming Detroit success story in the sixth world. That said, there’s still a lot of progress to be made for orks and trolls in society. Pit Bull Union is the manifestation of their impatience on the matter. Much to their chagrin, MOTOR and PBU have a somewhat symbiotic relationship. MOTOR’s influence on ork & troll youth has given rise to more confident second and third generations. Or’Zec traces some of its roots to Detroit, and the Orxploitation phenomenon really began in MoTown. Popular musician Orxanne is an alumn of Sacred Heart Ork & Troll Academy, believe it or not.

  • National Association for the Advancement of Meta-humanity(NAAM) – Detroit
    • Political Stance: Pro Metahuman
    • Enemies: Humanis, Alamos 20,000
    • Allies: ACCLU, ORC, MOTOR, The Ancients, BiS
    • Headquarters: Lafayette Park
    • Local President: Dylan Moore
    • Recruitment: Meta-humans and their supporters
    • Description: One of the oldest policlubs in NorthAmerica, the NAACP became NAAM in the first half of the 21st century in response to UGE & goblinization and ensuing violent bigotry disturbingly similar to that of the early and mid-1900s. There tactics are in-line with the ACCLU, but are applied specifically toward ending metahuman discrimination. They work quite closely with regional and local meta-human movements such as MOTOR or Pit Bull Union, although they try to publicly distance themselves from high profile criminal groups like The Ancients or Sons of Sauron (not to say they don’t work together from time to time).
